Founder | Dietitian’s Kitchen
Charmmy Cheng, APD

Charmmy Cheng is an experienced community dietitian and cooking instructor dedicated to improving quality of life through evidence-based nutrition care and practical healthy eating. In 2023, she founded Dietitian’s Kitchen, combining her passion for food with her professional expertise to empower individuals to eat well, cook confidently, and live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My Journey & Philosophy

From a Cooking Instructor to a Dietitian

Charmmy’s journey into the world of nutrition began in 2012, driven by a deep commitment to health and well-being. This passion led her to Flinders University, where she earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2020 and became an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD). As an APD, Charmmy adheres to the highest professional standards, ensuring her practice remains evidence-based, client-centred, and compassionate.

For me

“Food brings people together. I believe that by combining culinary skills with nutritional science, we can create meals that are not only healthy but also a source of joy.”

Having lived in Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia, Charmmy has developed a rich appreciation for diverse food cultures. This multicultural perspective shapes her philosophy that healthy eating is not about restriction, but about understanding, balance, and enjoyment. She empowers her clients by translating complex nutrition science into practical everyday skills, from preparing nutritious, delicious meals to shopping for food with confidence.
